You know you are "Bones" fan when.......
- you have a human skull replica on your book shelf
- you type using your phalanges and cannot understand when somebody refers them as fingers
- you eat dinner watching an autopsy
- you know how many ribs you have in your body
- you think it is cool to wear multicolored socks with cartoon characters
- you know the difference between wiggle and waggle
- you know how to determine time of death based on liver temperature (and have that thermometer on amazon's to buy wish list)
- you stop collecting peoples photos and start collecting their x-rays
- you are very familiar with the terms: Forensic Anthropology, Anthropometry, Odontology, osteology.....
- you try to re-construct faces from the X-rays you have been collecting

What is our Goal?
I have been wandering just like most of us what is our goal in life. Only difference was I was not thinking about just my own personal goal ..... I meant what is that common goal that all of us are after.
Wealth and success you would say....... not so cause the wealthiest are not always the happiest people. Its not worth being the most successful person and have no time for your self or to enjoy your wealth.
So it must be happiness that we are after? but still I was not satisfied with this answer not that I felt it is wrong but the word Happiness means different things to different people. This did not answer my question clearly but did make look in what i believe to be the right direction.
All of us want to be happy there is no doubt about that. It is just what makes us happy is different.
That brings to our question what makes people happy?
This question was answered at its fundamental level By Maslow in terms of Heirarchy of Needs!
I came up with one theory- We need following things to make us happy
To be loved and to love
Stability
Add value to ur life
ALL IN ALL TO MANAGE OUR LIFE!
Manage Our Life: What are important aspects of life?
Family
Friends
Social status
Career
Wealth
Education
These are some but there could be more for some people!
Now understanding what makes us happy and what are the aspects of happy life I propose the common goal of most of the people:
" Achieving our personal goals in Career , Education and Wealth while at the same time keeping our Family and friends happy, and developing our physical and spiritual side, is the complex balance we all try to maintain in our Life"

Manic Monday
Monday 17 march '08
Its monday as usual had monday blues B4 going to office but this time it was not only that!
Spring is finally here after lot of teasing this year…….. yeah weather can tease u some time especially in Texas where it can snow March and temperature can soar to 90 degrees in December.
hmmm but its not the weather I am was about to talk about…… its me !
despite good weather i m feeling bad I cannot enjoy it as I m down with cold Sore
throat and possibly flu. It is so irritating when you r waiting for that day to enjoy and exactly on the same day u fall sick. I was not able to go out for the paint-ball fight yesterday and also took day off from work today. hope the rest gets me back in shape…… got lot of thing to do from paying tax to answering my FE exam and not to forget the full time job and dream about starting that perfect business…..
here are few things i learnt about treating a sore throat:
1. drink lot of warm water or fluids (be sure that water is filtered or boiled)
2. Gragle as often as possible with warm salt water
3. Honey or honey mixed with equal quantity of Lemon juice helps soothing ur throat
4. donot eat anything oily or very spicy
5. cough drops are good to soothe the throat when ur outside and not able to carry honey or lemon
hope that help someone!

Almighty!
After watching "Evan Almighty" and "Bruce Almighty" I have been able to derive few important conclusions about God
1. God is one (as it is played by the same character in both the movies) :)
2. God is a Free man (Morgan freeman)
hahaha....:)
but anyways both the movies are good........ "Bruce almighty" is much better then the other

What I Learned
This is a email I received from a friend of mine, ..........almost all of it sounds so true.
I've learned that we don't have to change friends if we understand that friends change.
I've learned that no matter how good a friend is, they're going to hurt you every once in a while and you must forgive them for that.
I've learned that true friendship continues to grow, even over the longest distance. The same goes for true love.
I've learned that you can do something in an instant that will give you heartache for life.
I've learned that it's taking me a long time to become the person I want to be.
I've learned that you should always leave loved ones with loving words. It may be the last time you see them.
I've learned that you can keep going long after you can't.
I've learned that we are responsible for what we do, no matter how we feel.
I've learned that either you control your attitude or it controls you.
I've learned that regardless of how hot and steamy a relationship is at first, the passion fades and there had better be something else to take its place.
I've learned that heroes are the people who do what has to be done when it needs to be done, regardless of the consequences.
I've learned that money is a lousy way of keeping score.
I've learned that my best friend and I can do anything or nothing and have the best time.
I've learned that sometimes the people you expect to kick you when you're down, will be the ones to help you get back up.
I've learned that sometimes when I'm angry I have the right to be angry, but that doesn't give me the right to be cruel.
I've learned that just because someone doesn't love you the way you want them to doesn't mean they don't love you with all they have.
I've learned that maturity has more to do with what types of experiences you've had and what you've learned from them, and less to do with how many years you have lived.
I've learned that it isn't always enough to be forgiven by others. Sometimes you have to learn to forgive yourself.
I've learned that no matter how bad your heart is broken the world doesn't stop

The Journey that Chose Me!
Somebody said "You choose some journeys and some journeys chooses you"........that's quite true, we all choose what we want do,........ we make our choices......but still life or destiny or whatever u call it has already chosen the path for us to walk.
The sharp turns on this journey cannot be foreseen. U may be headed in one direction and very next second u realise your whole purpose for living has changed and u are headed somewhere else.
There are no guide books written on how to handle all these changes and if u don't take care of yourself and be prepared it can lead to depression , frustration and lot of other bad things........
My father had always been my guide whenever my life took any bad turn......... helping in his own way. I think his philosophy was not give food to the hungry but teach him how to feed himself. That has always prepared me take anything head on.
But recently my life took such bad turn that nothing could get it back on track.
Not even my Father..........as it was him.....he was gone forever. after battling with leukemia for over 3 months.
this was my biggest loss ....... void which can never b filled.
it is something i never expected to happen to him, as I had never seen him seriously ill or weak throughout my life!
The day it was tested positive for cancer till the day he was freed from his suffering have been the toughest......and even more tough for my mom who was with him day and night !
they were filled with pain ......Hope.....Confusion
I learned very important secret of life, U may live or die the Very next moment ........nothing maters........ how much money and material wealth you have never gives u any satisfaction .......only people and relationship are the biggest wealth and nobody can take that way from you.....and if you have right life partner even in those most troubled times you always have the desire to survive.
My father was rich in these two things........ I was touched and greatly indebted by the all the selfless help by all his friends ,our relatives and the doctors.
But nothing can stop what had to happen.......n I have to move on the journey which has chosen me!
